Pine Apple Upside Down Cake.

Melt 1/3 cube butter in [cast iron] fly pan &
spread 1 cup brown sugar evenly over butter
lay pine apple slices in next.

Batter
1 cup sugar
yolks of 3 eggs beaten in one at a time with sugar
1 cup flour
2 teaspoons B.P. [baking powder]
1/2 cup Pine apple juice
fold in stiffly beaten egg whites last

Pour over Pineapple mixture in fry pan

and bake 1/2 to 3/4 hour slowly
